Love Birds



     These doves are mates who have each other's back..





I was enjoying some patio time at sunset, when I noticed this couple perched on a limb above me..
We had a few hours of sunshine the afternoon of May 26th.. In the wee hours of that morning, a MAJOR HISTORIC FLOOD  had stormed its way thru Houston Texas.... ~ May 25-26 2015 ~

    These photos are so peaceful. I love their cooing sounds. I've been watching the devastation in Houston. Unbelievable! Glad you are safe. I'm ready for these spring rains to end!

    Thank you ladies! I read somewhere that male doves do all of the cooing ;-) We are in for another round of storms starting this afternoon, I think I will go visit my favorite parks before then!

    The doves are so sweet. I'm glad you could capture them. Ours are very shy and fly away as soon as they spot someone.
